La Fourche review: is the subscription worth it in 2026?

La Fourche is only worthwhile if your actual savings exceed the net cost of the subscription and any additional order costs. There is no universal verdict. Calculate the result using your usual products during the trial, without treating marketing percentages as guaranteed savings.

La Fourche review: is the subscription worth it in 2026?
La Fourche

The calculation to make

Data How to measure it
Net subscription cost Price shown in your journey, less any eligible referral discount
Savings on products Price of your alternative basket less the La Fourche price, with comparable quantity and quality
Associated fees Delivery, minimum order and purchases added to reach a threshold
Benefits actually used Vouchers credited, valid and spent on a planned purchase

Your annual result is: observed savings plus benefits used, less the subscription and additional fees. If the result is positive for your planned purchases, the subscription may be worthwhile for you.

Is the subscription worthwhile for you?

Question 1 of 2

Have you compared a fixed basket with equivalent quantity and quality?
Do the observed savings exceed the subscription and additional fees?

Building a fair comparison basket

Choose between ten and twenty products that you actually buy, with comparable quantity, weight and quality level. Record their price at La Fourche and from your usual alternative on the same day. A different brand, family-size format or particular certification may explain a difference and must not automatically be treated as a saving or an additional cost.

Then add the visible costs for the order: delivery, any threshold and products added solely to reach that threshold. An unplanned product remains an expense, even if it enables you to obtain delivery or use a voucher. Conversely, an unavailable product should not be replaced with a price assumption.

Repeat the comparison across several baskets during the 30-day trial. One particularly favourable basket does not prove annual value. Use the median or, more simply, the actual total of your planned purchases over the period. The decision should be based on what you consume, not the entire catalogue.

Formula without inventing an amount

Use A for the membership cost actually shown in your journey, R for the referral discount for which you are actually eligible, E for the saving measured on your products, F for additional fees and B for vouchers actually used on planned purchases.

The result is: E + B - (A - R) - F.

A positive result means that your measured usage covers the net cost. A negative result means that this basket does not make the subscription worthwhile. The formula does not use the current membership price, because the source consulted for the referral programme is not sufficient to guarantee this price for every future journey.

Referral programme: timing and conditions

The referred person must follow the eligible journey and must not already have a trial or an active subscription. The announced 20-euro reduction applies to their first year. The help page states that there is a 30-day trial and specifies that the reduction is applied at the end of it.

For the referrer, the 20-euro voucher is not credited as soon as the click or registration takes place. The source states that it is issued after the referred person's trial and membership payment. It can be used from a purchase of 60 euros and remains valid for six months. These stages must be distinguished: invitation sent, account created, trial completed, membership paid, voucher credited, voucher used.

The voucher is only valuable if it funds a planned purchase before it expires. Adding unnecessary products to reach 60 euros reduces or eliminates its economic benefit.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Comparing different formats or quality levels.
  • Using an average marketing percentage instead of your own basket.
  • Forgetting delivery, the minimum order or added products.
  • Counting the referrer's voucher before the trial ends and membership is paid.
  • Treating an expired or unused voucher as a saving.
  • Creating a new account when a trial or subscription already exists.
  • Letting the trial end by default without doing the calculation before it finishes.

Who might the subscription suit?

The offer may make sense if the products you actually order regularly generate savings greater than the net cost and if the thresholds match the size of your baskets. It may be less suitable for someone who orders rarely, finds few comparable products or adds purchases to meet the conditions.

This conclusion should be revised if your habits, prices, membership cost or delivery conditions change. To interpret a pending voucher correctly, see our guide to reward timeframes.

What the referral programme proves

The help page, updated on 6 May 2026, announces a 20-euro reduction on the referred person's first year. They must not already have an active trial or subscription. After the 30-day trial and payment of the membership, the referrer receives a 20-euro voucher, usable from a purchase of 60 euros and valid for six months.

These amounts reduce the cost or the price of a purchase, but do not prove that every basket is cheaper. Value remains personal.
